增强防护性、粘合剂和疏水性

添加小型硅基分子,称作硅烷,这产生粘附和渗透的组合物,以改善对物理、化学、环境和热降解的抗性和/或提供优质的水珠。

硅烷背后的科学

硅烷分子由一个中心硅原子组成,该中心硅原子连接有四个有机或无机反应或非反应基团的组合。至少含有一种碳硅键结构的硅烷被称为有机硅。  

硅烷与自身和无机基材内的任何羟基反应,通常当存在水分时,形成强化学键,提供保护和耐用性。它们还可用作反应产生硅酸盐和硅酸酯的中间体,这在水稀释的纯洁产品中提供抗污性和改善的物理特性。

功能和优点

有机官能团硅烷在界面提供反应性化学,以提高复合材料的性能和耐用性。由于其独特的特性,它们非常适合高性能油漆、油墨和涂料。在建筑方面,除其他应用外,它们在铺砌场馆和人行道中提供了长期保护和水珠。它们可穿透、反应并粘合到许多基材上,并可用于水性或溶剂型配方。多功能且易于水解,可与大多数粘合剂系统兼容,适用于低 VOC、可持续配方产品。
